When asked about the quality of work provided by Angie Palmer, her previous employers and clients have consistently quoted her as a creative, professional and dedicated self-starter with a wide range of skills and knowledge.

Angie is a Hong Kong native who has studied and worked in different countries. She understands the inner workings of small and large organizations as well as the business qualities necessary to succeed in the global environment.  Being able to speak three different Asian languages, she is well connected with the trends in the most powerful Asian countries while constantly surveying the best practices in the United States.

Her journey in the business world started right after she graduated as the top student in the School of Business in Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore.  She was offered a management role in a prestigious hotel to manage a team of guest service agents.  Being a lifelong learner, she realized she wanted to continue to hone various business and marketing skills.  She resigned from that job and continued her education in one of the best universities in Australia.  She earned her Bachelor of Commerce with the University of Melbourne before returning to Asia to work.

Since then, Angie has applied her knowledge and skills successfully in different industries, including hospitality, retail, education, media and public relations.  One of her recent successful ventures since she came to the United States is on social media and internet marketing, including blogging, video production and web design with search engine optimization (SEO).  While she lived in Alamogordo, New Mexico, she created a successful blog for Alamogordo and Holloman Air Force Base.  Her blog on Alamogordo and Holloman Air Force Base (AFB) was listed as number 1 on Google search and has been in the top 1.98% of blogs tracked by Technorati.

While Angie continues to update herself with the current trends and technology businesses need, she also makes sure she is a scholar-practitioner that can incorporate research with real-world business practices.  After she received her master’s degree in the United States, she is now pursuing her PhD in industrial/organizational psychology while working in the public relations, social media and internet marketing field.

Angie has moved to Ohio and is ready to share her knowledge and skills with the local businesses and non-profit organizations with her new company called Skye Public Relations.  She has been recently selected as one of the Forty Under 40 Award 2010 recipient by Business First of Columbus for her professional development, awards and recognition, and community involvement.
